In June of 2002, I travelled to San Cristobal, Chiapas, Mexico with my son Jack. We went to see Jack’s mom, who is an anthropologist studying the work of Trudy Blom and the native Maya people at Na Bolom. We visited archaeological sites at Tonina, and visited the village of San Juan Chamula. See images of those places and the surrounding area.
